Most likely not but check the rating plate to see its range covers 240v and 50hz. most pc's do.

You will need a plug converter unless you want to take the one off that's on it and fit a UK one to the wire.

If you are unlucky and your laptop will only work on 120v maximum, Walmart do a cheap voltage converter (this will not change the frequency though, however this will unlikely matter). look in the travel accessory section.

Yes, if you want to plug it in to a wall socket, you will need a converter for any US device. If it plugs in with a US wall socket, it will need a converter in the UK.

But don't worry about making a mistake....you won't physically be able to plug the US plug into the UK wall socket, since it won't fit. The slots are cut differently and it avoids this kind of mistake.
