As a newly qualified make-up artist..can I buy cosmetics at whole sale price from cosmetic counters in places such as dilliards, macys etc?

Wholesale prices are for resellers. There are many companies that offer a discount to professional makeup artists. You need to provide tear/call sheets, business card, agency, union representation, etc..The discounts cannot be redeemed inside of dept stores only in the freestanding stores or online. Some companies, you have to place orders through the business managers through email or by phone only. Start by going to each company's website and send email inquiries or call them direct. If you're just starting out, you may not be eligible yet. Hope this helps!

no. Go to the boutiques and ask them there. I know MAC has a form you fill out. Then you get I think it's 40% off.
