Save or make?

If your in a position to save that much then it just means cutting back on luxuries, buying the cheapest food and walking instead of taking the car when you can. Cut out cigarettes if you smoke.

Making the money however is a little trickier.
I suggest ebaying everything you own that you do not need, and things you do need depending on how bad you need the money.

That's quite a lot of money. You need to save £834 a month.
Try this
Don't spend 1p you don't have to not 1. So only the cheapest and most basic food, no clothes, no make up, not a newspaper or a cup of coffee. Walk to work if you can. Life will be a little bleak for 3 months but it will bring you nearer your goal. As you won't be able to go out except to work as that usually costs money see if you can find a part time job for a few weeks to earn a bit of extra cash. Go through your stuff, anything you don't need of any value sell it. Every single spare penny put it into an interest bearing account.

It's a tough goal, but not impossible. Good luck

Save up by cutting out all unnecessary expenses.
Eat more vegetables and fruits (best value for the money)

Put your money in an interest earning account as you save it up, like http://ingdirect.com/

Go through everything and see what you can sell - garage sale or ebay. Be ruthless and let go of everything you don't really need or use regularly.

Don't invest in any work at home things until you do your research, and I don't think the turnaround on your investment in general would be fast enough in your situation, but to check them out, go to http://mlm-thetruth.com/
