you can either call the 1800 number on the back of your card or you can go to the atm, swipe your card, and it will give you the option of a balance statement

Of Course.

Your question is not stupid there is more to it then most know.

Put your card in the ATM enter your PIN then select from the options. If you get lost just cancel the whole thing, and start again. Now some bank and Credit Unions charge you to look up your balance at an ATM. Ask your bank if they charge for balance look up on ATM's and while you have customer service on the line check your balance with them.

It's someone you know. A friend or family member. Boyfriend maybe? You have to have the card to use an ATM machine or at a gas station. And they would need the pin number. Even if your info got skimmed with a dummy ATM machine and a criminal made a 2nd copy, they wouldn't use it in a local store with cameras. They'd use it online. The person who stole your money is stupid. Call the police and file a report. File the police report with your bank and dispute the withdraws. The store has security tape, they can figure out who it was based on the time on the bank transaction.

When u go to the Atm machine it is either the 3 rd or 4 th key pad that just says check balance. Or better yet just call ur bank and check ur balances or the internet is also the best solution

Some ATMs allow you to - many now charge you a fee of a buck or two to do it.

You can do it, but you will be charged a fee if it is not a ATM that is hooked up with your bank.
