Should I tip?

Im recieving laser hair removal on my bikini line which is an extemely pricey procedure. Should I still tip the technician? (it takes her 25 minutes to complete the area)...

If it is considered, even remotely, a medical service, you do not need to tip. But if it was a commercial establishment, check if the person doing it is the owner operator. If yes, tipping is not necessary. If no, I think you should. The money you paid only goes to paying their loan to buy that expensive laser machine, plus incidental materials involved, plus per hour salaries of the staff plus overhead on the office/clinic.

I find it so very confusing these days who to tip and who not to. I have even heard now that the girl who cleans my teeth gets tips!? I work my butt off at work and don't get tips. If I were you, I would block your phone number out, call a salon, ask to talk to the manager, and sincerely ask her if it is normal for the employees who do that, to receive tips. Tell her you don't have a ton of money, but you don't want to be shunned there either. Be genuine, and hopefully she will be straight forward with you. Or maybe call a few places.

Generally for any service that someone performs for you, though your not obligated to, you should consider even a small tip. Personal care technitians generally get a commision on what you pay but that would be roughly equivalent to a waitress and thier hourly pay. Tip her, you'll want her to do a good job and know that it is appreciated, especially if you are a repeat customer.

It costs a fortune for that, so I wouldn't tip on top of that. The tip is probably included in the price.

actually tipping is something that people are not obliged to do. if u think that what u pay is enough and what u pay includes "service" then dont tip. if u dont want to tip just dont, if u want just do it. and obviously what u pay is enough to you so dont
