I have always been in dramatic relationships and finally I am in a normal and healthy relationship and now I actually trust my boyfriend. It doesnt bother me when he hangs out with other girls so how do I know if I would care if he actually hooked up with another girl? I am turning this all into "I must not care for him"

It's great if you do have that security. Maybe you've grown up and decided to stop wasting energy on something you really can't control. After all, if he's gonna stray, he'll stray, whether you get jealous about it or not. You should be grateful you've gotten past that green monster; most of us can't say the same, me included.

1. Do you know these girls? 2. Would he let you hang out with guys? Are you telling yourself not to care? Or do you really not care? Sometimes when you are in a relationship your partner might not feel like you trust them so you back off so they can be happy. But remember there has to be boundaries in a relationship. Make sure that your man knows whats up, whats really on your mind and in your heart. If you don't care that he is kickin it with other girls and he knows that, not saying he would, but guys take advantage of that (some anyway). But if you really just don't care them maybe you are not ready for a committed relationship. Personally I would not let my man just go kick it with some girls. Ummm....no. But people are different. I think you two need to set some boundaries and go from there.

i was in premarital counseling and this is what he said. there are "a, b and c" relationships. when a man is commited to a woman, he must have "a" relationships with all other women. it basically means hi, bye, hope the fam is well. a "B" relationship is more in depth, how r u, let's go get coffee.. ect ect. a "c" relationshpi is best friends, sharing everything, doing everything together. ur man should have " a relationships with those other women. period. i find him rather disrespectful if he has desires to carry out other friendships. buy the proper care and feeding of marriage by dr laura.

Its not that you don't care its just that you are anticipating him to do wrong because that is what you are used to, but I would be concern with him hanging out with other girls lets face it a man will always be a man you give them an inch the take a yard its OK to trust him but don't be stupid. He just might be a great guy but better safe than sorry.

If you trust him then trust him, you really don't want to know if he hooked up with another girl, then you'd have to put him in the same category as all of the other guys you dated. Be Happy!

Well maybe you are comfortable with him. maybe you are finally in a healthy relationship that is built on trust and he hasn't given you a reason to not trust him enjoy this because jealousy can eat you up.

Honestly, I knew my ex was cheating on me when he suddenly started acting really different around me. The first time he was really clingy, hung all over me, almost like he was apologizing with out admitting it. The 2nd- how ever many other times, he was really distant and started being a jackass toward me. Finally, the girls that he did it with came straight out and told me. I went up to him and he did that thing that he does when he lies. Thats how I found out.

No you havent gotten that "I actually trust my boyfriend" level. Youre still not trusting and its unhealthy.
Maybe you need to sit him down and ask him these questions.
