Okay well i am in eight grade and will be attending high school next year. I have been best friends with *sally sinse elementary school, and just became friends with *margaret this year. We are considered a "threesome". I have recently got together with a old elementary friend that had become "popular" when we started middle school. I met all of her friends and suddenly really really want to become good friends with them. I realize they look like they have alot of fun together. Us three dont really have that much fun together. Sally and Margaret dont want to make new friends...but I really want to. I dont know what to do! If I tel sally and margaret i want to become friends with them, they wont like me. Help please!

that is apart of growing up talk to your "old" friends about your "new" friends if they are truelly your friends they will stick by your side no matter what.

Don't be so concerned of what Sally and Margaret think. Their decision on not making new friends is their choice, and you shouldn't have to worry about that. You can still continue to hang out with Sally and Margaret and hang out with the other girl that you have been friends with since elementary school. You decide whom you want to hang out with and Sally and Margaret should understand your decision if both of these girls are really your friends. If you decide to tell them that you friends with this other girl and you get a bad response, at least you will know who your true friends are. Do what you think is best for yourself. I hope my advice helps. Good luck.

Well Sally and Margaret should not have that power over you and if they don't want to be your friend after you be friends with another kid they were really your friends then. If they can't except the fact that you can be friends with more than them then? Well what can you say?
If they are really your friends they would be your friends no matter what happens!!
Well
Buena Suerte
Good luck
And hang in there!!

It depends. If Margaret and Sally are bad friends, make new ones. I wouldn't want to make friends that are popular but that is just me. If the popular friends are better, be friends with them. Or, hang out with your new friends when you are not around your old friends.

there there, sweeeeeetie.
Mag and Sally aren't always gonna be there.
I am a 9th grader and in middle school
I had a group of 5 friends including me but
over the summer everyone really changed.
I mean we were going to high school we has
to find real true friends.
And this year all of my old best friends don't
even talk to me anymore.
Its sad, dear.
But that's why I always tried to make friends
everywhere I go no matter who I am with or anything.
Just be careful.

throughout middle school and highschool there's a lot of this stuff...changing of friends and jelousy nd everyhting. i think that sally and margaret should understand if you wanna make some new friends, doesn't mean you have to ditch them completely...make room for both. im in 11th grade and ive noticed that its good to meet a bunch of different ppl, havw fun. learn. and keep those friends that you've had for this tyme. besides..if you think these "popular" girls are nice to you and will treat you rite..why not? have fun, and i hope they understand-<33-cait

they're like controlling u. don't let the take over your social life. it's not like one for all and all for one all the time. if they have a problem w/ u making frends, then i think they're being protective like they only want you for themselves. and it's not their life. i mean, they should just let u loose sometimes b/c they can't always be there(diff. classes and stuff). go out there and get more frends, because true frends let u go out and make more frends so u can be happy
