How do I transfer from Incredimail to Microsoft Outlook 2003?

Question

I have used Incredimail for a while now, but have been advised that it is an unsafe program.

So I wish to transfer all emails to Microsoft Outlook. And set up an email account there.

What I get stuck on is the POP3 and SMTP settings. I have tried putting the same ones in as Incredimail has. But it doesn't seem to work...

Who have you been talking to. I have used Incredimail for I think 5 years now and haven't had a problem. What it is, is that I have Norton's Anti-Virus program. This automatically scans all emails for viruses and is active in the background so a trojan or virus can not access your computer.

Besides, with Incredimail, I do not use a junk filter. I get it all. Then incredimail has a function where you just highlight all the junk mail or spam, then you click bounce, then Incredimail will bounce the email back and automatically delete too. That is what I like about it to be able to bounce mail back. A lot of spam sent, continues because if it is not bounced back then it must be a valid email address.

If you still want to go to microsoft outlook 2003 anyway, just email me and I will tell you how. I have outlook 2002 and I will have to get on that and figure it out. I am satisfied with my incredimail program. So whoever told you that probably did not have a virus program with their incredimail and no matter what you have , if you open an email with a virus and you do not have a program like Norton's then of course the incredimail will get the blame. If that person went to Microsoft Outlook 2003 without any antivirus running like Norton's then they would have advised that Outlook was an unsafe program. ANY program is safe. It is the user who is too cheap to buy an antivirus program that makes the programs go bad. lol

FYI, make sure you manually update. The auto update seems not to work for some reason. Also, go to magentic.com site for some awesome screensaves there.
