Why don't you check the website of the university you applied to and see when they are scheduled to report back to the applicants.

Some schools use a system called "rolling" admission. You apply any time and they tell you a month or so later whether you got in. Most of the schools that do that are "least selective" schools that are not very competitive. But, also, some good but very large state schools that admit thousands of students.

Most competitive "more selective" schools will require applications to be filed in late fall, and then issue all acceptances and rejections at one time around the beginning of April. If you are accepted they will expect you to answer them as to whether you are coming or not by May 1st.
