n = (7000c - 70500)/5

5n = (7000c - 70500)

7000c = 5n + 70500

c = [ 5n + 70500 ] / 7000

if n = 1300,

c = (6500 + 70500)/7000 = (77000/7000) = $11

Hope that helps ;)

x² = x+6 x² - x - 6 = 0 (x - 3)(x + 2) = 0 So x = 3 or - 2 x² + 2x = 0 x(x + 2) = 0 So x = 0 or - 2 60 = x² - 4x x²- 4x - 60 = 0 (x - 10)(x + 6) = 0 So x = 10 or -6 4x = x² - 40 5 x² - 4x - 40 5 = 0 (x - 9)(x + 5) = 0 So x = 9 or -5 -6x = x² + 9 x² + 6x + 9 = 0 (x + 3)(x + 3) = 0 (x + 3)² = 0 So x = -3 -15=x² + 8x x² + 8x +15 = 0 (x + 5)(x + 3) = 0 So x = -5 or -3 -9x = x² + 14 x² + 9x + 14 = 0 (x + 7)(x + 2) = 0 So x = -7 or - 2 desire that helps. =D

We know that N=1300, what we need to do is re-arrange the equation to make C the subject, which yields

(5N+70500)/7000

Putting N=1300 into the equation gives

(5*1300+70500)/7000 =11

Therfore C=11

If N is 1300, then 6500+70500/7000 is C, which works out as $11

You'll have to be more specific. Is your equation,

N = 700C -(70500/5)

or

N = (700C -70500)/5

I presume the latter, because the first can be simplified, but then so can the second...the second gives an answer of 110 for C, but the first gives 22 (pounds, dollars, etc.)
