If so, theoretically, one can drink this liquid, and take a time-released capsule, (say a half an hour or so), get on a plane and blow them selves up. Is this possible, and if so, what two chemicals? And of so again, how could you deactivate this chemical reaction?

Most liquid explosives are harmful to swallow.
Still, if it was to hide it inside, anyone (almost) can hide some C4 in their stomach or up on the other side, and use a remote detonator. Although not much of it can fit inside, it won't be a very big blast, but enough for, say, a plane, because planes are pretty packed with fuel, especially on the wings, and it would do even more damage near the pilot's cabin.
And it would pass any metal detectors.
Water would be clever- it does react very violently with substances, but those substances aren't as well "healthy" for people. And it wouldn't cause enough damage to a plane unless it's a lucky one.
