That probably depends on the hospital and what type of things the bill was for. There is probably a department at the hospital that can help you clear it up. Contact the hospital or go to their website and get the number for that department.

What ever you can afford to honest. As long as you tell them that this is the amount you are going to pay each month, they shouldn't give you a hard time. If they say they can not except that then you need to speak to an attorney as long as your paying SOMETHING each month it proves you are trying to pay your debt!

get a job at the hospital...the insurance is amazing and the bills are tiny! :)

As long as you pay them SOMETHING, you can pay them really anything. If all you can afford is $5 or $10 a month, as long as you pay it every month (if there's a month you can't pay them, call them beforehand and them know.) they have to take it,

if you don't have insurance go and see the financial dept and let them know as sometimes they help people out and pay the bills when they have no insurace.

If you make a plan with them what you can afford may be they will accept because you can only pay what you can afford.
