Murgatroyd, I didnt say I think it does spoil it. Actually I think it is alright as a follow on (Not as good as Moonchild but what could top that?) It would have ruined the song to put anything else as it would change the mood but I have heard people put it down. Thanks for answering.

I completely disagree. I think it's the variety of sounds and textures that makes the album a classic. To have something so aggressive (21st Century Schizoid Man) followed by something as delicate as I Talk to the Wind puts both pieces in relief. The same goes for Moonchild and the other songs on the record. As for calling it "experimental," I am reminded of something the great composer Edgard Varese said: "I experiment BEFORE I make my music - then it is the listener who must experiment!"

Hell no. However, if YOU do there is an edited version out there that fades out after the words on the 1976 A Young Person's Guide and the original Frame By Frame box set from 1991.
