I've had the loud noise twice in my c/h system and it is scale gets in the circuit but when its passed through the heat exchanger it will not come back again for 3/4/5 months so yours might be scale but of course we are talking about your hot water supply and not your c/h system

This is a faulty ball float in the domestic hot water tank. This will need to be changed.

It's nothing to do with your radiators - it's totally different pipework to your water tap.
Sounds like your thermostat is not cutting out at the correct temperature (producing steam)

it is air in the pipes use a key to loosen the valve to release the air. You may be best getting a plumber to do it

The water heater is overheating and creating steam in the pipes.
It could be a number of causes of why it is overheating.

When you installed the heater did you burp the system on refill of water, open the pressure valve on top of the heater and let the air out.

Buzzwaltz got it. Your faucet washer is either loose or worn. Time to change it.
