$1,300 for a running car having no apparent defects is reasonable. Mileage is not everything. Make sure you get it inspected by a LOCAL company.

I agree with the other poster, if the car is in good condition and runs well that may actually be a bargin. If you are worried about the high miles get a compression test done on the engine, not sure if they have a reliable test for the transmission, but if either of those were to go bad the car would head to the scrap yard.
Either way, if you want a cheap drivable car it sounds like you found it.
