The smell of my mother and just being able to hug her. Her serious yet caring brown eyes that could see staight through me. And her soft voice calling me 'little one'.
I'm a thousand miles away from her now and I miss her terribly. And, yes, I do call her mama.

Warm and fuzzy images of a great female figure in a childs life. A giver of life and love. That one adult in a persons life that is there to nuture, love, and care for them no matter how old you are.I see a person that wears different hats and is rolled into one person.A person a child ought to be able to count on for most of their life for understanding and guidance.

The great things about my Mom that I miss before she died. She was funny, smart, tough and determined. She went back to college after my Dad left her and 5 kids behind and got her nursing degree. She was a great person, great cook, great friend.
