None of the above.
That "dirt" on Kenny Rogers' hand, not only in Game 2 against the Cardinals but also in the game he pitched against Oakland in the ALCS, is what I consider most pathetic.
We all know that wasn't dirt, and if Rogers didn't use it against Oakland, the A's would've had a chance to win not only that game but also try to seize the momentum of the series. Against St. Louis, all it did was delay the outcome. I, for one, refuse to recognize Game 2 as an actual result, and because of that, must credit the Cardinals with a SWEEP.

At least it doesn't take The Tigers 88 years to win a World Series, unlike the whinny sux (hence named because all they do is cry about The Cubs).
The Tigers losing the World Series is a blessing. It will only make them stronger and more determined than ever. They gained vaulable expereince which will help this year and next.
Unlike some fans I remained loyal and true to the Tigers throughout thier losing seasons. When they lost 119 games in 2003 I was there, and I still loved them. I doubt you would have done the same if the whinny sux had lost 119 games.
During those 88 years the whinny sux were winless in the World Series, The Detroit Tigers had won 4 (1935, 1945, 1968, 1984).
So much for history.
Losing the division title last year was also a blessing. If they had won the division we would have to face the yankees in a 7 game series, instead of a 5 games series. A 7 game series against The Yankees is almost impossible to win. So, yeah I am very proud of The Detroit Tigers---win or lose---because I am a loyal and dedicated fan. Something you know nothing of.
The Tigers have a fine young pitching staff which will only get better with age. I am not saying they will win The World Series this year, make at least they will make the playoffs...while the whinny sux go another 88 years without one.
So, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Trash? YOU want me to talk trash? Well this Yankee fan can and will exercise that right if you want me to.
First of all, I can and will brag all that I want.
My team has 26 World Championships! The most champiosnships for ANY sports team.
That gives me that right, but the Detroit Tigers beat my team quite handily in the ALDS. With strategy, pitching, and good coaching. I will not bash them for that reason alone.
Every team has it's day, your team has. Detroit has a some good years coming. In fact I think that the central is a good division maybe even tht best, and I don't see your team even as a contender. The Tigers and Twins have too much talent. If Detroit has a losing season, or fail to make the playoffs then maybe they will shut up. But for now I would suggest cooling it a bit, enjoy the game. I don't even get this angry at Red Sox fans and believe me between them and their team most of them deserve it.
So I can and will say it, Detroit is the team to beat in the Central and the other, well they are just the "Whinny Sux!"
Oh and one more thing... to answer your question about most pathetic thing? It's knowing that the Tigers have to share the Central Division with the Whinny Sux

Well for one, there is no luck in having a good season in baseball. There are 162 games for a reason and thats so the best teams make the playoffs. It doesnt matter that they didnt win the division cause they still got to the World Series. I mean the White Sox didnt even make the playoffs. The 2005 White Sox team would have definitley lost to the 2006 Cardinals, probably in 4 games straight too.

Joey's answer made me laugh. You say that the 05 Sox would be swept by the Cardinals. But the 06 version - the team that did not even make the playoffs - both won more games than St. Louis in the hardest division in baseball and SWEPT the Cardinals in inter-league play. Not only did they sweep St. Louis, but they beat them 20 - 6 (4 of St. L's runs came in the 9th, so it was worse than it looked, 13 - 5, and in a close game 1-0. Safe to say, you can't say that St. Louis would sweep the Sox. Probably the other way around.
Tiger fans here have been real cocky. Good for the question guy for putting it out there. These fans are dirtier than Kenny Rodgers hand in the ALCS.

What are you talking about?? I'm not a Tiger fan,but I know a stupid question when I hear one. The Tigers had 12 straight losing seasons, and this season won 96 games, that's pretty damn good. They will be good for a long time. I like all these Card fans talking tough, let's see them not play for a week and then have to be at their best. They were lucky to catch the Tigers at the right time. What exactly is shameful about the Tigers? That they went from a losing season to 96 wins and the World Series? Hey, pal thanks for the thumbs down! I gave you one too! Why did I get one? For letting you know just how stupid your question was? You are making Cardinal fans look like morons.

Those are very good points that you brought up. I would like to add that Kenny Rogers cheated by using some kind of substance on his hand, and their fans were chanting Yankees suck in the 2006 A.L.D.S. which is pathetic because the Tiger fans should know that the Yankees have won 26 Champions. I don't have anything against Tiger fans who don't chant Yankees suck but the ones that do, you have to stop inhaling wite-out or whatever it is you inhale because the Yankees will make another run while the Tigers may not even make it in the playoffs.

I would say that good thing about the Tigers is that they don't have you as a fan.
In every season, there are winning teams and losing teams, not winners and losers.
So, they haven't had a winning season since 93. I have heard people insulting the Braves for going to the playoffs for 13 years and only winning once.
Talk about looking for something to pick on.
Just a last note, you are what, 14, 15 years old?

Let me preface this by stating that I am a Yankee fan.
Being a baseball fan, there is absolutley nothing pathetic abut thetigers. They are ayoung, enthusiastic club that is definatley on the upswing. Their pitching staff is young and has some terrific arms. They may needed a big bat in the lineup and may have filled that hole with the addition of Sheffield. They have a good manager, and may just may win that division again this year. Idon't know what's wrong with people when they try to find fault in otherteamsinstead of finding the good in theirs andtalking about that.

That is the most moronic question and statements. Your a White Sux fan, classless. Way to close out the season last year, no playoffs for you. You may want to go to the Cubbie games this year, that is the only baseball team with a little class in Chicago. I can see you jumping from team to team. It would depend on the club that is doing the better.
