yes, i know i should be doing my own homework. But i'm really terrible at history and I need to get this test done to graduate!!!

The Marshall Plan. It was designed to kick-start Europe's economy, especially Germany's. The idea is that you don't have to fight an insurgency in the population if you put them all to work with good paying jobs. (Maybe our current President could learn a lesson from this.)

We also implemented a similar plan in Japan.

So within 25 years, who had the two biggest economies after the USA? Germany and Japan. The Marshall Plan was a shining success for progressive policy.

The money sent to Europe after the Second World War was called the Marshall Plan. It was for the reconstruction of European cities and to get their economys built up. There was an incredible amount of destruction to European infastructure and many countries were broke after the War.
