I put my buggy in the holding thingy. I hate it when people leave them in the lot because for some reason, they always block the good parking spots. How long does it take to just push the buggy to the holding thingy? People are so lazy.

I always put my cart back in the "cart holding thingie". I used to have to be one of those people that had to go collect the carts and there is nothing that sucks more. I realize that people are always going to have to go to the parking lot and get the carts, but if I can help make it a little easier to deal with, I am all for it.

Not only that, but when people leave carts in the parking lot scattered around, they can damage other peoples cars as well!
One gust of wind and a cart just sitting in an open lot could be pushed right into a parked, or even a moving, car.
I can't stand the ignorance of the people we are surrounded by, everyone thinking about themselves, never caring how their lazy self centered behavior may effect others. This specifically is a small issue, but it really just reflects a much larger problem in the world today.

Long ago, I used to leave those carts in the parking lot. but one day in Chicago, i came out to find that about 4 carts caught the wind and smashed into my car, causing about $1200 bucks in body damage.
After that, I not only take my cart back to the store, but any other left floating in the parking lot.
And in Chicago, when it hits -20 degrees, I don't wish for anyone, no matter how much they make, to go out in this weather.

Dragon always takes her cart back to the cart return thingie. That is the polite and proper thing to do.

If there is a cart thingy nearby, I will put it there, but otherwise I will put it in a spot where there are other carts or just out of the way from cars.

If the corral is close enough i usually put it back, I seen a stupid thing at the store, old guy outside in cold weather getting carts and all the young guys in the store bagging. I didnt make sense to me.

We always return it to the cart holder. When it's cold you don't want to block a parking space or risk a cart hitting someone's car. It's just rude!

It really depends but when I get to the store I almost always use an abandoned cart from the parking lot. I understand that someone has to go get them but that is a part of their job. I will try to be better in the future

I put it in the cartholder; even if it's a few cars away from me.
Last thing i want to be responsible for is scratching or denting someone elses car if the wind carries it away.
I get frustrated by the laziness of people who just leave their cart on the side of their car and drive away. Because i usually pull up next and have to get out and move it the hell outta my way.

I always try to return it, but occasionally I can't. I have 2 small children and if the cart return is too far away , I can't leave them unsupervised to take the cart and put it up. In most states you can actually be charged with neglect if you leave your children for more than a set amt. of feet.
Honestly, I know it sounds horrible, but thats their job. They are cart pushers, for them to complain would be like a bank teller complaining about making change.
