Charging Lead Acid Batteries?

When charging a lead acid battery connected to an inverter, is it necessary to disconnect from the inverter?

No, assuming nothing is being consumed at the same time

Lets say a 12 volt battery,the charge voltage should not exceed 13.6 V. That should 90% charged and if u continue to charge it will destroy the battery.
