Funny that you asked. I am a physician and specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecologist. I am also a man. The fact that one would put a gender scenario on this fascinates me. First of all medicine is about healing, and in my case bringing new life into this world. I also specialize in Oncology and help cure women from Mutations (Cancer), there are many doctors that treat men and women for different ailments. Unfortunately, when dealing with a sexual part of the human body, the average lay person will think of it as a sexual perversion. It is not! It is science, bringing new life into the world, helping and respecting women. I am happily married with my wife of 4 years.

The same thing that makes a medical doctor specialize in any area is the reason for there being a gynecologist. A doctor views a member of the opposite sex as a patient . Well I am not a doctor I have been in a position where seeing and helping women in the nude at time was part of job. I very quickly and naturally developed what I am sure is the same sort of attitude and response to a women's nudity as no different then I would a mans.
The gynecologist is human sure and he is gets turned on by women if he isn't gay. However its almost like magic once the man is in the role of doctor or care giver instantly the people are not so much men or women as they are female humans and male humans. This is how a doctor working with that particular aspect of female humans body works . Once a person understands this it is more a case of why would a doctor choose any specialty . The doctor gets a chance to get a taste of each different sort of job he might do and he then finds that he gets a seance of satisfaction more so then others. He may find that one is more challenging to him and that he simply thinks that for some reason his medical aptitude is best suited to this work or that work. Work being the operative word .

Anyone who becomes a doctor of any kind or specialty has to be very dedicated to serving others. Not just anyone can make it through medical school. I would also have to say the same thing that makes a woman want to be a gynecologist.

Many men chose this field because there was a serious lack of good care for women as little as two decades ago. One gyno I know went into the field because he lost a potential little brother by miscarriage that could have easily been prevented. Fortunately, the situation seems to be a lot better now, and it seems like there are a lot more women gynecologists out there too.

i ask your self this too. i visit't imagine there is any sexual sex in interpreting women human beings or perhaps as i comprehend a guy can study about gynaecology i do not see how he does not be at a authentic downside by technique of definition. I plan to be a healthcare professional or perhaps nonetheless i prefer to be an endocrinologist and/or pediatrician not a gyn i comprehend i'd be appearing checks and treating woman sufferers. It does not complication me yet i imagine of it as something i'd ought to do as area of the pastime. i visit't imagine a guy picking to focus on it. Edit: I see a lady too. partly via expertise element and frequently because i trust comfortable being examined and talking to a lady about what's happening with my body.

A desire to help people and to learn.
They may also have had a female in their life that may have had a bad experience with a doctor and they wanted to try to make sure nobody else had the same experience.

Maybe the paycheck... maybe that's all he could get in regards to work... maybe he thought only actresses and supermodel walk through his doors... maybe his previous girlfriend told him he really sucked in bed and so he dedicated his life to learning about female anatomy and how to "get it right"...
