they're killing me!!! my TOM(time of month) came this morning and I don't have any pamprin or midol.....what else can I do or take to ease the pain???

You should activate your core muscles to help oxygen and blood flow to the area. Try a couple of side stretches and then sit-ups (of any kind), stretch again when you are done. Exercising during your period decreases painful cramping and can help the cycle continue freely.

Crunching up into the fetal position is not a good thing to do as you're allowing your muscles to cramp up even easier and can slightly restrict some of the blood flow - creating more clots.

Also, caffeine helps to release muscle cramps. I suggest coffee or tea as the warm temp of the drink should also help you to feel a little better.

If you can get Magnesia Phos 6 X or 12 X tablets or powder (like homeopathy, available in many health food stores), take a small quantity dissolved in hot water at frequent intervals.

Take a bath a good long hot one. It works pretty good. Drink some thing with caffeine in it and take two tylenol before the bath and you will come out feeling better.

A hot water bottle might help. Also lie down and wear loose clothing..

good bath warm and relaxing
hot water bottle or heat patch
lie down with your legs slightly raised and i know its not what you want to do but excersize helps

switching between a heating pad and ice is the only thing helps me.
