All the cool-aid drinking dems piss and moun about the war in IRAQ. I have yet to hear anyone of them with a answer. When the fanatics are in our backyards, who will you point your finger at then? When the possiblility of being blown up in a store, resturant city buss or a funeral is part of your everyday life, who will be to blame then? As Americans we live a very protected and safe life, all that will change in the very near future if we as a nation are unable to come together with real answers and a efective way to resolve the problems that our Goverment faces today. IRAQ is a bad situation cant argue that. IRAN will be worse. Our country is at a crossroads in our history. Its time to choose our path I for one like the freedoms and the safety my goverment has secured for me and my family. War is hell, young men die,(and ladies). At 44 I am to old for military service, but given the chance I would gladly take the place of any soldier that feels we should not be there.

If suicide bombers set themselves off in MallWart, it will be because of MallWart policies and nothing to do with Iraq.

If Iragis wanted to attack in the United States, the fact that there was a US military in Iraq would deter them not at all. On the other hand the continued ruin of their country might make them desperate enough to do that. So yes fighting them over there encourages them to use terrorist tactics over here.

Up to now all the terrorists over here, in all but three incidents were from Right Wing Americans not Right Wing Arabs. The problem is the Right Wing Mentality not what country or religion they are.

There are terrorists cells in this country. There are porous borders which will allow more terrorists to get in. You are not safe. I don't know why there haven't been any attacks on a Walmart. If I was a terrorists, and willing to die for my beliefs, I would strap on some dynamite and go into a crowded mall at Christmas time. An attack like that would have a devastating economic impact as people stayed away from the malls out of fear. Doing it at Christmas time would have a strong symbolic meaning. My point is that there is no way to completely protect ourselves from attacks.
One more thing. You said that you are willing to die for your freedoms. Did anyone ask the Iraqi citizens if they were willing to die for your freedoms and safety? The whole "fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here" is really saying that non Americans are dispensable cannon fodder and nothing we need to be concerned about so long as we can get a CD at Walmart.

An Arab did shoot up a JCC last summer, but aside from that---the problem in Iraq has nothing to do with Al Qaeda terrorists. OBL got what he orchestrated 9/11 for---US forces out of Saudi Arabia--years ago. Iraq is in a civil war that was raging long before the US got there and will be raging long after the US is gone. And if President Bush really wanted to win this war he'd institute a draft and ask the public to do more than go shopping. Unfortunately, the die hards who support this war also believe that being fat, arrogant, ignorant, and living beyond your means while sacrificing nothing is a God-given American right. If you believe President Bush is trying to do anything except hunker down until January 2009 and dump this mess on whoever succeeds him than you are being deliberately ignorant.

THE NUMBER OF SOLDIERS SERVING IN IRAQ THAT ARE AGAINST THE WAR HAS QUADRUPLED IN THE LAST 4 MONTHS. GOVERNMENT DOES NOT SECURE FREEDOMS...THE PEOPLE DO. REMEMBER? "GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE"
