Han Solo is better than me because he knew how to fly a spaceship, and he knew galactic aeronautics. He knew how to get from one dimension to the other. Until there was a problem with the ship. That was Chewys expertise. I am not educated in that field, therefore that is why he is better than me.

What makes you think he is better than I am? He was capable of doing the silliest things even when he should have known better, i.e. he was a fictional character in a story and knew the Empire was evil and out to get him.
