Hope you had the insurance on it. The is what bad about some products. It would cost more to fix it then to get a new one. Call HP and ask them if I were you. If you should happen to get another one, remember to see what insurance is from HP on this. For future reference, did you know that HP insurance is cheaper than the store. They have a break it, run over it, or spill coffee on it and damage the computer policy, They still fix it. The store here will only fix the manufacturer defect and the insurance cost 4 times more.

send it to the manufacturer and they'll repair it free of cost, all you pay for is the shipping! That's only if its still under the guarantee obviously.
