When ever i type in a search engine or some other box, it comes up with words i've typed in previously, how do i turn this option off?

if you mean in the drop down menu then just highlight what you want to delete and hit delete on your keyboard.

If you are using Internet Explorer goto
Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> click AutoComplete to turn it off.

That is the automatic forms fill-in feature. Go to options and turn it off.

go to the tool option on your browser and look for personal settings or something like that and find the 'auto complete' option, this will disable that

I get that, I tend to ignore it unless it got to do with what I'm searching for

I don't think you can turn it off
