When my oldest was 4 he asked me if he could have a cookie. I absent mindedly said yes and continued doing the dishes. (They were on top of the fridge).
So he turns to me and said," Do you think I'm a bird for I can fly up there and get it myself?"
It was SO funny!!!

We were leaving my cousin's house and my son was outside playing with her son (they are 4 months apart and best friends). I called to him to come on and I got in the truck. I sat there for a moment and realized he wasn't coming. I called for him again and he came running. When he got in the truck, I asked him if he had heard me call him the first time. He said he had only heard me that time. Then he said "I don't know why I didn't hear you...I had my ears on!" LMAO!!
Another time, I was using the bathroom and he came in and started laughing and said "Mommy, you pee out your butt!!" Kids.......

We were on a trip from Texas to Chicago and pulled off for fuel in Missouri and he got swarmed by mosquitos and went running to the car saying the Squitos were eating him. lol

I don't have any children, but I'm very close with my nephews and nieces. This was awhile ago, but anyway. I was baby-sitting for 3 of my nephews one day. The oldest was in his bedroom (he was 4 at the time), I was in the kitchen and he started calling me. I told him I couldn't hear him. He runs into the kitchen doorway and says, "Can you hear me now?"......he then takes two steps and again "Can you hear me now?". I died laughing.

When my daughter was 2, we were at a restaurant and there was a little black baby girl there. She had her afro hair up in pigtails and it looked like a poodle. My daughter yelled out to the top of her lungs "Look mommy a PUPPY"!

When he was 2, he notice that I didn't have a "worm." So I told him that girls didn't have worms. He said that was ok because I could buy me one at the store.

I told my nephew we were heading to Dubois (pronounced Do-boys) campground for a birthday party...he said "But Erin, the girls want to go to."
