I have watched and loved this show since season one. But season seven seems to be losing something...
Do you agree?

well it's been a little sluggish in the fact that Rory and Logan have been together for what seems like forever (though I have a feeling he might be cheating on her). I'm getting the sense here (I must be brilliant lol) that Christopher is on his way out and Luke is back in. Thank God! I hate Christopher and have no idea what Loralei was thinking when she married him. I think the first 2 episodes of the season were a little odd but I really liked last night's episode a lot. I have a feeling that Richard might die though. Have you ever noticed he's been a guest star on the show since it came out? odd, I wonder if they are going to kill him off and have Loralei become closer with her mother? I guess we'll find out. Thanks for the post.

I too think that this season is weak. I also agree that since the original writers left (the Palladino's) the show is just not the same. Lorelai used to be so strong & independant and energetic. Now her character (since dumping Luke actually) seems dependent and uninspired. Its too bad - I love this show, and hopefully the new writers have some interesting twists up their sleeves!!

I love the show...in season seven i think that it's different because
1)Lore broke up with Luke and married Chris...and everyone once Luke and Lore together.
2)Rory and Logan's relationship is kinda boring, because they don't have any big problems.
3)In the first seasons there were more of Stars Hollowed showed and it's strange people.

Yeah I've watched every episode and I love it. I definitely think though the earlier seasons are better than the recent ones. I haven't really liked any of the episodes in this season; the best one being 'To Whom It May Concern' in my opinion. Hopefully the rest of the season gets better.

The show will be back to it's former glory as soon as Loralie gets rid of Chris. I can't stand his character, he's such a child! But there are rumors going around that Alexis Bledel doesn't want to do another season and that Lauren Graham wont go on without Alexis.

I love it.
I do agree that it has changed sence the Pallidenos (i know that I spelled that wrong) left. But I still really like it. It's not all about the wrighting, it's the actors too. I think that Lorelai and Luke should get back together too. Plus I really like that Rory and Logan are together, some people don't but I do.

I know i think so too.
Its taking too long for Laurali and Luke to stay together develop their storylines.......her marrying Christopher was a huge mistake on her part....cuz she knows she loves Luke and she betrayed him...and instead of confessing and trying to heal that hurt with Luke - she runs to Christopher like a coward and tries to pass off something less than what Chris deserves - not that he is a saint or anything.
Anyway, Rory and bf storyline is getting old fast!
And its time the writers shake up the Grandparents storyline!
I love Lane and her new life now!
But yeah - they need to do something with the storylines of Lor and Luke and Chris.

It lost something with Lorelei's marriage to Christopher, and Rory's relationship with Logan. The appeal of the show for me was Star's Hollow folks...and to introduce them both in such major ways has gotten in the way of Rory and Lorelei's relationship.
The dialogue is still brilliant.

it's because amy sherman palladino and her husband left the show. they no longer write the episodes. it is definitely different and it makes me sad. it's still kindof good but it is definitely not up to the old gilmore girls standards.
