WWE is a national corperation. They don't have any heart and soul but they do have one thing that will keep them going better than heart and soul, this is money. Like all national corperations, WWE just wants to make more money. The best way to do this is to push their best money vacuum to the top until he gets old and doesn't make any more money. From their, they push someone else to the top and kepp him their until he doesn't make any more money. The reason Cena is staying at the top is because he is making money. If he continues to make money, he will stay at the top, that is how it works. So I say, Cena won't change has long has he is making money.

I'm not a Cena fan, but I do think he plays the role of Champ well. He isn't the best all round wrestler but he is good on the mic, and his storylines have been pretty decent and he sells them well. As an all round entertainer which is what a WWE champ needs to be, I don't think he does that badly.
I do hope that HBK gives him a good pasting at Wrestlemania though and has a nice little title run until HHH comes back :)
I agree with what others have said and they should merge Raw and Smackdown as both have become a bit stale lately and they have had most of the superstars doing cross overs between the 2 shows anyway. Sack off ECW and bring the best of the wrestlers there onto the main shows. The whole WWE needs a bit of a shake up methinks, and some decent storylines!!

well, they are obviously building a feud between him and michaels even though they are tag champs. And right now, HBK has a good following, so they might try to make him a top dog. But i agree with you, its been too much of the same. monday night was the best raw in a while because they had taker, lashley, and batista on there. It made the show 10 times better. They need to collapse this whole smackdown vs. raw bs and just make everyone compete on both shows, and then collapse the sorry @$$ ecw and let Lashley and RVD come back to the real WWE. It would open the doors for about a thousand more story lines and better matches weekly

I doubt it for the moment. He's the top face on Raw for sure, but even i'm getting a little bit fed up with it.i hope the projected match-up at W/Mania Cena v HBK actually happens. With any luck, HBK will beat the cr.ap out of him & put him out of the spotlight for a while.
Raw & S/D are both getting stale.ECW is just a sack of sh.it right now.Every week there it's Bobby, RVD or Test yadda-yadda.Time all 3 brands merged, the deadwood cut out and the chance for some decent matches & storylines.
Cena will only change i reckon when the fans turn on him. Then expect him to become a heel , which should be interesting!

cena is like a rock who the crowd loves so hence he wont change face for a long time but its wwe so sooner or later he will turn face and go heel which in my opinion will make him better you want a new face for raw well who?? edge no he can be a champ but thats it he cant carry raw..orton?? same as edge just cant cut it...hbk well yes for a short period u have to look at his history to know he has beat the best he has carried raw/smackdown but as he is getting older he cant do it for a long period...vince needs to bring in new faces to change raw but will he y2j needs to come back so does lesner and maybe even goldberg but it wont happen so u will just have to wait 6mths then the king of kings will be back and believe he will shake it all up again

Totally agree. Vince has over saturated this whole John Cena run. The only ones that appreciate this crap are the brain dead "teenie boppers" that think John Cena is hot. In the mean time the real fans are getting spoon fed crap week after week. The program is going way down with him on top. It is time for a change!

I think Edge is a better wrestler, and it always helps to have a heel be champion so everybody else can "chase" the title. Although, if McMahon wants to recreate the wrestling zeitgeist of the late 90s, he needs to find some new guys that can capture the non-wrestling fans like Austin and the Rock did.

It's been almost 3 years and Cena's still the top dog of Raw... I really wish the Championship could change hands. HBK, please take the gold away from Cena!!!

If he's the best then why shouldn't he be champ. Didn't Hogan hold the title for nearly 4 years? Was anyone annoyed by that?
