Tools>Internet Options>Clear History.
While you are on that page you might as well Delete Cookes and Files as well.

Not only Clear History, but also clear off-line content or temporary files. (Delete cookies, Delete files)

I've heard goog things about a product called winclear that is supposed to clear some more hidden traces than you can get to yourself. You can get it at http://dealswebonline.com/links/index.php?site=winclear

CCleaner is by far the best program if you want to wipe all those unnecessary files on your P C

go to control panel/intenet options and then click on clear history/.
