I don't think much to Steve McClaren, I'm sure if they had really tried, they could have found a much better 'boss' for England, while he keeps picking dick heads like Phil Neville, England are not going to win anything. !! xx

I'm a fanna Phil Neville, and to tell you, Phil is a versatile and reliable player, that's why I think McClaren got him in the squad.
What young players does England have, young players who are very talented, by the way??
Was SVEN GORAN ERICKSON a good manager, by the way?

exactly...this is a step back, why not give barry a chance...he says he wants to play them in the position they play for their club, but he's playing lampard left wing....since when was lampard a winger
the only way to get in to mcclaren's side is if you're
a) an untouchable (lampard, gerrard, rio, terry, rooney. ashley cole)
b) a manchester united player (carrick, foster)
c) an ex-manchester united player (phil neville) or
d) a middlesborough player (downing)
(i'm a man u fan, by the way)
the rest are just players he gives a chance when others are injured. sven was better than this. a lot of people have it set in their mind that sven was a complete imbecile but he got the english game back on its feet. mcclaren seems intent on bringing it to its knees

His logic is Ashley Cole's injured, Wayne Bridge is injured, Owen Hargreaves is injured, publicly states doesn't want to play Barry out of his club position even though he can play left back. So logically he picks Phil Neville who doesn't even play left back for Everton. Genius!
And my personal opinion, Steve Mclaren is not International class.

Did you watch the derby between Liverpool and Everton? I think Phil Neville gets a lot of stick because he is ugly. But he is one of the most versatile and hardest working footballers in England. He deserves his place.

He seems incapable of passing the ball to anyone with the same colour shirt on as his.
