You seem to forget bin Laden's parents had disowned him for being a radical. They were flown out as part of protective custody measures. Even our own murderers get that treatment (protective custody..like cop killers)

Perhaps she had some information as to his where-abouts USA needed to know? She is his mother, and may know where he is. Isn't that what the American people say they want, the capture of Bin Laden? Dems say it A LOT! Do they mean it? If they do, then they should be glad Mr. Bush is doing all he can to get that terrorist!

Are you asking why didn't he put her in Guantanamo, or why did he? I think you're drunk.

Mommy bin Laden, along with about 160 other members of the bin Laden family and their entourages were specifically allowed to fly out of the US when NO OTHER PLANES were allowed to fly. Wny?

Several reasons:
1. The bin Ladens are very wealthy. They were one of George Bush Sr's major campaign contributors as well as being THE biggest (after Ken Lay and what USED to be Enron) contibutor to Junior's two campaigns.
2. George Bush Sr, WORKED for the bin Ladens in the Carlysle Group. Junior HAD to let the family leave or his Daddy might have been fired. Bush Sr no longer works for them, cuz the US Public started getting upset about the obvious conflict of interest.
3. George Bush Jr will be out of a job in 2 years and will be asking for work from the bin Ladens, mark my words you saw it here first.

why do you people continue to gloss over the part where the bin laden family shunned OBL. They broke all ties to him a decade before 9/11 which is one of the reasons some of them were and are still here for threat of their lives from him.

The Bush family and the Bin Laden family have been friends
for years. I am not saying that the Bushs were friendly with
Osama Bin Laden, but they were friendly with the rest of his
family.

One can readily imagine the phone call: "You know ....
Kids will be kids..."
