Weird. Some people think more of animals than they do other things. I call them extremist.

Cats are independent and free willed, dogs are more please the alpha. The people who prefer them will follow the same way of thinking. Those which like both, will have a mix of both traits but can prefer one or the other.
Men tend to like dogs, women tend to like cats. This is tend not the rule.I enjoy both and find advantages in both.

generally speaking, cat people are more independent, while dog people like to have others around. People that like both are happy with or without other people around. this is not true in every case, of course.

There aren't any....it amazes me the big guys with the poodles, the old ladies with the Rotti's,,,,it's a matter of preference and demographics
