I'm getting married in Sept. Anyone know of an inexpensive, but nice way to have a reception?

Have it somewhere inexpensive and use simple elegant decorations. You can use the confetti like wedding decor on the tables with a simple candle as the centerpiece. You can also have simple finger foods.

Have it at a church and they may even help pay for the catering and maybe some food if they know you cannot afford it. Churches are good like this. Also make alot of the food yourself and this will cut way down on the cost as well.

We had ours at our home after we returned from Jamaica. It was kind of a pot luck, everyone brought a dish and it was actually very nice. Have people volunteer to help you out and I'm sure they won't mind. People love weddings. Congratulations and good luck!
