I am Peruvian, and in all I have studied about our Inca Empire nothing is said about directly trading with Aztecs. Most probably they did not even know about the existence of each other.

Probably there could have taken place indirect trading, done by some other tribes that lived on the limits of each empire.

Your question is very interesting and could spark an interest in the theme of finding out any connexion these two empires could have had.

Although these two great empires did co-exist, there is very little evidence that they did any formal trading.
As vast as they were, however, it is plausible that the distant edges (villages) of their respective empires were aware that there was someone else out there. It is hard not to notice some strange merchant selling some unique goods. Especially around coastal cities.

Hmm...
You asked a great question.

Yes. We've found quite a bit of evidence that suggests this. For example, certain kinds of jewelry and stones have been found in Teotihuacan that could have only come through trade with the Inca empire. Also, certain customs and sports were passed along.
