One way to easily find the answer to conversion problems is to go to "Google" enter the question like so:
"gallons in 180 litres"
The answer will pop right up. In this case
180 litres= 47.5509692 US Gallons

1 litre <----------> 0.22 gallons
180 litres<-----> 180 x 0.22 gallons = 39.6 gallons
