Being LGBT, or straight, which is exactly as God made you, is not "unnatural" - it's the most natural thing on the planet. People who discriminate against others on the basis of their inborn sexual orientation ARE ignorant bigots.

I think requiring any human to be CHASTE (non-sexual) and CELIBATE (unmarried) is quite unnatural by definition, since we nearly all have a sex drive - that's how we are built as humans. Such deprivation could cause mental anguish and trauma down the road in life. I believe this to be the point she is making.

Homosexuality is a normal part of life. Celebacy is a forced process. Some people naturally chose celebacy, but for priests it is forced upon them. The operative word is force. Rosie was not forced into her lifestyle.

Once again, you used what a celebrity says out of context. First of all, She said "that sexuality is a part of the human condition". Just because you choose not to act on it doesn't mean your body will agree with the brain. Lately, we have heard alot of disturbing story's about priests.
But in Mr. Haggard case, whom said he was cured by therapy and Jesus within three weeks is B.S. First of all he made a decision to do what he did and said what he did. Alot of people listen to him and he lied to everyone. So stop crucifying a woman whom job is to give her views and opinion.
So get a hobby and try to make your own community a better place and stop protecting people who continue to lied.

I'm sorry, but I stopped watching "The View" when they got Rosie under contract, so am not as up to date as I should be.

To put it mildly, I originally thought that Rosie was somewhat entertaining and mostly harmless - in a sort of young, innocent, pre-teen way - sort of like your little sister when her hormones get rushing and all she does is giggle, think of who is the cutest classmate, etc, like we all do at that age. Then I started watching her more often, and my mind did a 180.

Rosie has now demonstrated that she is a "Grade A" mean, antagonistic, and vengeful woman who has decided to be judge, jury, and executioner on all things of which she feels she has knowledge. No longer that harmless, somewhat entertaining woman who was somewhat likeable in the beginning, she has become yet another of those full-fledged, do-as-I-say,-not-what-I-do hypocrites one sees in church on Sunday.

She is a passing fancy in the minds of most of us and should retire to her house and raise her kids, but in our society that will never be the case, of course. As long as there are people who will listen to her whine about being picked on as a plus-size person or lesbian (big deal, I say), yet be first in line to criticize someone or something out there with her glib yet overbearing so-called witicisms, she will be there for the world to see.

She may for the most part be a prime candidate to be some village's village idiot with her obviously inflated sense of worth, but there she will be somewhere on the boobtube until we wake up and tell her to shut up, go home, and not bother us any more. I'm not going to hold my breath, though; what would we do for entertainment without the likes of her and Brittney Spears? Watch "The Apprentice"?
