I would be curious how much that costs as opposed to bush taking Air Force one down to Florida for a one day campaign trip, then screwing up traffic when he left right at rush hour.

No, they should not be flying around on militia jets. The officers of our government, like numerous different variety of officers (companies spring to techniques), might desire to get around to disparate places rapidly. private jets are the final thank you to end this purpose; even nevertheless, I do have self assurance that a smaller jet than what they at the instant have could meet their desires. And no, they shouldn't might desire to retroactively pay for the journey.

Make her take the bus. That ought to shut her up for a while. She is a waste of space in government. Doesn't she know there is a war going on right now and she is concerned with the size of her jet? That just goes to show where her priorities lie.

look, just because us independents voted out the reps, doesn't mean they we are now dems. And unless you are asserting that reps are now leaving the party and turning into dems, your 'neo lib' concept doesn't work. As far as the jet goes, I think that the iraq war and the blank check is of more concern to us tax payers...especially us conservative tax payers. Is that all you got? Better come up with soem better material, or I just may have to vote out the reps from the whtiehouse, too.

Its not the fact that she uses a government plane to fly around, its that the current one that was used by the Speaker wasn't good enough for her. She needed a newer, bigger one that I have a problem with.

WHAT?!? I've NEVER heard of a politician taking a ride in a private jet before. This is ludicrous. I am going to write my congressman right now....

Dennis Hastert was the first Speaker of the House to do it - citing security reasons. Don't you want to protect the third in line to the Presidency? Or is it simply because she's a dem?

Oh, and we didn't pay for the golf trips of some government workers. . . Or some vacations, or some "perks", or some companies that have connections in high places. . .

It happens all over. And I think I would rather pay the military than pay 1st class tickets from United or American. . .

So now who is the fool???
