Call the CVS and ask for it.. In some cases if people have moved and did not update with their previous employers, the employers will send it to the last know address.. If this doesn't apply to her then just call the CVS and ask about her W2 it just might be in the holding file for some reason.

Legally, the company has the responsibility of sending the W-2 information out by the 31st of January. If she moved or had a change of address and did not tell her company, they are not responsible for knowing, and sending it to the new address. You can call the IRS hotline 1-800-829-1040, and report the company if she is sure that CVS did have her correct information.

An employer is required by law to provide a W-2 even if you no longer work for the company. Contact corporate and request a duplicate.

They legally have to give it to her, so she should just ask. If she kept her last pay stup of 2006 she can just use that.
