ProActive solution is going to be your best bet.

The stuff works amazingly....even if you don't have really horrible acne.

Yes. I wash my face once a day, pop any pimples when I need to and they're gone.

Not popping and over popping (this is when a yellow crust has formed and you pop it but only oil comes out...it's already popped) cause scars.

I use Equate brand face wash with their medicated apricot scrub every day. After which I rinse my face with cold water to close the pores and apply a thin layer of lotion. I have dry skin and the occasional small pimples every now and then, it works for me.

Just a side note...ProActive is only for really bad skin. And most people that use it usually experience severe dryness from it and their acne is made worse. So just because it works on someone else doesn't mean it will work on you...same with the way I wash my face...it may not work for you, but it costs less than $2 for the face wash and same for the scrub...and ProActive is expensive because you're helping fund their crappy advertising with celebs that have horrible acne from wearing too much frosting (i.e. make-up) on their face.

Number one thing keep your face clean. Go to Walgreen's and get a face cleanser and astringent, then wash morning and evening. If this does not help, then buy some anti acne things, my kids use the oxy pads and the oxy lotion, but they really don't have that bad of acne, so oxy works for them. If this doesn't work, go to a dermatologist, you may need prescription medication. I feel so bad for people that have bad acne and they don't realize that a dermatologist can generally prescribe something that can easily help.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

The best advice i give to you is go to the dermatologist they have great people that can help you out if that doesn't work then get a decent acne removing cream but i suggest you go to the doctor to see if it's suitable for you or not

Make sure you are drinking enough water. You should be drinking 1/2 ounce of water per pound of your body weight. If you have scars you might want to go talk to a dermatologist to have them removed. Also, make sure you wash your face properly and removed all makeup before bed
