Need help with Deep Sea diving quest on VMK!!!!!?

I have been stuck on this question for like a month. It says.. "Go to nautilous grotto and require a diamond" I can't because i can't go "in" the water so how do i get the diamond?!? I checked everywhere on the floor but it's not there so i have no idea help!!!!!

actually, this question is kinda tricky. it actually wants you to buy the candle "lumiere". you can find him in the small world imports! :) he's 150 credits.
