what can i use to print something on a shirt?

i want to put a picture on a plain white tshirt...but how do i do it?

The best way would be going to a local print store (Kinko's and Office/Business Depots may perform this at certain locations). They're slightly pricey, but if you want the job done professionally, they're your best bet.

On the other hand, you can purchase "transfer paper" from your local computer store (such as BestBuy) where you can print the picture yoruself on your own color printer and then just follow the instructions that come with the paper. Its usually as simple as pressing the print with a simple iron for a few minutes.

Certain ink-jet printers can print onto a special paper that is then ironed onto a shirt.

The message has to be put backward on this stencil so it will print forward on the shirt.

There are transfer sheets that you can buy that allow you to use a regular printer to print out the design on the transfer sheet then you use an iron to transfer the image to fabric. I bought some by crayola at wal-mart.
