No, all the matches winners and lossers are pre detrmined, the times the matches go are pre determined and gimmicks and promos are pre determined. It can still take a toll on the body over time though. Even if someone is trained, they will still be in a bit of pain after a match. Also, one other thing that is unscripted (except for high points like Taker flying off the Armageddon sign) is the moves they do in the match. They come out and make their own matches. Still, all the conclusions and everything in the end is pre determined.

Wrestling is real. What you see on WWC Smackdown is 100% fiction.
The real question is why do people pay to see it? In the olden days, it was halfway believable, but now days it is just SO obviously fake it shouldn't even be allowed to be called "wrestling" maybe "acting" or something more descriptional- definately it needs a disclaimer

No, just like Santa and the Easter bunny..it is real fighting but the moves and hits are scripted to a point. If you record a show of RAW or Smackdown and slow the hits down you can see that they have their hand up to cover their face.

Its called 'wrestling entertainment.'

The answer is yes and no, mostly no. Wrestler hurts each other with slams for nightly basis for real. However, the whole pro wrestling match is all planned, from the moves they're gonna use to who's gonna win. Pro wrestling referees are also fake. They're actually act like in-ring director controlling the match.

High school, collage and the Olympic wrestling is real. What we see on TV WWE, ECW and TNA isn't real. They have writers and the winner of the matched are pre determined. But the pro wrestlers do have injuries and those are real.

It's fake. It's all created by a team of writers that pick who win the matches. You will also see the wrestlers talk to each other a lot during a match. It's still fun to watch though.

Depends which wrestling you are referring to.

WWE, TNA -- they are sports entertainment and results are determined by storylines. stories are told by feuds of the wrestlers and settle their score with some body slammin and high impact moves in the ring. getting their acts right is paramount as it will tell the story more realistically

Now those amateur wrestling, yes they are real. Lots of mat movements, submission holds and pinning combos.

Wrestling is very real.
That silly thing you see on TV with full grown Americans screaming at a gym monkey in his underpants is not real.
Well, unfortunately it is real as in; it is happening, but it is scripted and acted out.

Wrestling is real but remember WWE is just the entertainment, they are there to entertain people like me and you. Taking bumps, or choppers, slaps, punches and cutting your forehead with blade that's all real.
