While I don't agree with it, I would think it was because his family would have been in danger from the obvious backlash against them. From what I know most of his family disowned him and have nothing to do with him, and they are very rich. It could have been a selfish move by Bush... but while I cannot stand the president I do understand why it was important to get them out of the country.

I think it's spelled BIN Laden.
1) show me proof of George Bush's oil profits.
2) no response
3) how is flying out the Bin Laden's a lie?
How about this dh. THEY DIDN'T DO IT! Then of course there's the fact that they flew on their own private jets. Not George Bush's.

I can relate. George Bush President of the United States is a man who has flushed all honor and integrity down the toilet. He has spread shame on America, it's Constitution, and it's People. It is a highly embarrassing situation for every Good American. This Man has spun completely out of control and he needs to be stopped immediately. President Bush has discounted himself to nothing more then a mere "War Criminal."

None of the above. The bin Ladens were flown out as quickly as possible (but not before they were questioned by the FBI) because the executive branch was afraid of the backlash the family would get.
They were flown out immediately after regular flights resumed.

The were flown out after being questioned by the FBI, and were permitted to leave by the State Department.
The bin Laden's had disowned Osama years before...
Was the US Government supposed to hold them as HOSTAGES ??

they are family friends of the Bush clan, they go way back to the 30's - Bush/Bin Laden go hand in hand, just like when Bush played Kissy Kissy with the Saudi Prince, hand in hand in the park, smooches!
