He should be happy you took the time to cook for him. He doesn't sound appreciative at all of what you did for him. He is making a big deal out of a small issue, men tend to do that. You had no idea the fly had went to the food, hey, all the time we leave food half covered or uncovered for that matter. He should of after he seen the fly, say that he seen the fly in there and that he was going to throw the food away. It's okay there, but the main issue here is him. He needs to chill out and treat you with more respect. You did nothing wrong, from the sounds of it; you respect and love him enough to cook for him. He needs to understand how good he has it to have a wife like you. Not all women want to cook for their husbands, some don't cook at all.Allow him time to cool off and talk to him about how awful he made you feel and that you had no idea about the fly, that it looked safe enough to let it cool half covered, hell, at least you covered it a little.

let him make his own lunches if he doesn't like what you make.
You should not feel bad about doing something for him.. it is he who is being disrespectful to you and he is trying to make your feel guilty.
You did nothing wrong. He is trying to be bossy and trying to bully you to make you feel bad.
Do not take any of this from him, stand up and tell him, to make his own stuff from now on....
You are not a maid, a waitress or his mother, he had better appreciate what you do for him, or it will be his tough luck...
he is looking to start a fight because he is unhappy and upset and taking it out on the person closest, which happens to be you.
Do not take it personal, you did nothing wrong.
It is him who is wrong, but he will never admit it, do not wait for an apology,,,,, let it go.......

Hmmmmm.....I'd let him start making his own lunch and see if he could do any better!?!?!?
I used to see this from my step-father a lot. He would always complain and cuss and rant and rave what was on the dinner table after my mother had almost killed herself racing home to make sure it was on the table when he got home from work.
I decided then and there, that if this happened to ME, that I simply wouldn't place myself in that position. Why try if you're going to get shot down anyways? Save yourself the trouble.

It sounds like the two of you need some counseling. Better get it fast before things get out of hand.

Sounds like your husband is a real Asshole but we teach people how to treat us. so either leave him or make him change.

He really needs to grow up! You can either put up with his poor attitude, or move on!

take the food container, and cram it up his ***, sideways.
ungrateful clown - I'm sure if you make him cook his own food in future, then he won't be so picky!!!
