to answer these types of questns, you have to first subt. the values of the constants ie de alphabts into the eqn

A=P+PRT
1000=50+(50)(.06)(T) , FOR THIS, WE ARE SOLVING FOR T
1000-50=50*.06*T , grouping like terms
950= 3*T
950/3=T the 30 crossing the equal sign to divide bcos
it was multiplying to T
T=316.6667

therefore the answer is gonna be the rounding expecting frm the teacher.

The only unknown is T so one way to solve the problem is to isolate T and then substitute like so:
A-P=PRT
T=(A-P)/PR
and substituting,
T=(1000-50)/(50)(.06)
or T=950/3 or T= 316.7

1000 = 50 + (50)(.06)T
1000 = 50 + 3T
1000 - 50 = (50 + 3T) - 50
950 = 3T
950/3 = 3T/3
316.66666666666666 = T

just plug in the given values and solve for the unknown

1000=50 +50(.06)T

950/3 = T

T= 316.666............
