I've just bought that Selsun Salon 2 in 1, I'm hoping it works, I'm want to do blonde but not Golden or dark blonde.

What color is your natural hair? The only problem you will have if it is as dark as black, or deep brown is that with any coloring product, you will have some red come through at the end of dying it. If you hair is that dark, you need to bleach it out first before coloring. You can go to a salon and have it done, which is really expensive, or go to a hair specialist store. There you can find a packet of bleach, (don't use real bleach, like for using in your laundry!), and a bottle of peroxide. All you have to do is mix the two, the packet, and the peroxide. The directions are on the packet. Then color your hair with the coloring box you bought. Good Luck.

it depends on the color of your hair now. you do not want to go to drastic or it will look horrible.
