i got regular black people hair b/c im black (duh) but i want it to look as if i have a mixed people curl without it lookin like a jerry curl and without put in tracks b/c i hate tracks.

I would like to know the answer to that question as well. I am a mother of a mixed child who's hair I had no idea how to take care of. I am white, my ex. is Puerto Rican and black mix. My daughter's hair has been a nightmare all her life. She is 20 now and still hates it. It is not soft like most mixed hair, is is corse but when she gets it to lay in curls it is real nice. But it doesn't last very long. And when it gets wet.....it puffs out....

See that's exactly what I want! the way my avatar looks - I would love to have that look. but texerizer either do nothing or they straighten my hair completely. the last one I tried , soft and beautiful botanicals straightened my hair straighter than a regular perm! And the "white folks" rod perms do absolutely nothing to my hair. *sigh. If I had all the heads of hair I've lost my hair would be down to my butt!

you need to texturize your hair. Its like a relaxer but placed on for a short time so it just softens the kinks. Go to someone who knows what they are doing!!!

just get your hair relaxed every 6 weeks and keep you a roller set in hour hair every night.
