Ryan Seacrest has done a good enough job introducing the show and taking us through the past seasons so why has such a silly additional role suddenly been created and why did they have to choose the world's most annoying presenter to do it?

Charlotte H - Cat Deeley IS on American Idol. She's just started doing it this season - it's an additional slot for the UK viewers and very annoying. Sorry but I just had to point that out...

Annoying, pointless, irrelevant, wooden, interuptive to the program, insulting, awkward, and a total product of her greedy promoters.
It's almost like someone is trying to pretend that she is 'hosting' the show..... phhhht. What a sham!
I complained to ITV2 yesterday. You should all do the same.

I do they have Ryan Seacrest to talk and present the show i dont understand why they have got her on she isnt American so what is the point i have been thinkin the same for ages now Good Question..xx..P.S Charlotte H i think you best do some research before you say things next time because you have just made a total fool out of yourself and you obvioulsy dont watch the show

pointless, she isnt good at reading the autocue and Cat Deeley is highly irritating.

Its the only reason i watch it Cat Deeley what i would do to her is illegal in most states of the US, i'll have to wait til she gets back.

They think a pretty face will bring on the viewers. She is talentless and doesn't have much of a face or figure.
Kate Thornton could do it well as a co presenter.
