The South and the conservatives hate most Democrats so its no matter, the environment still currently favours Democrats nationally.
Only two Republican candidates were a hope to that party, McCain and Giuliani, McCain is sinking quickly as the success of the McCain surge is proving so helpful.
Recent polls have shown only Giuliani beating a Democrat, and Giuliani will be given hell by the religious fascists in the Republican primaries
Edit: In addition, Giuliani has filed, but not as a Republican yet, neither has Michael Bloomberg, if either runs as an independent, they will take away the economic conservatives and let Hillary/any Democrat win easily, much like the favour Perot did the party.

I agree with you. I live in the South and I can assure you that she has no chance of winning a State below the Mason Dixon line. In order to win the south, the democrats are going to have to put up someone with more conservative views than those espoused by Hillary. Every democrat elected has been from the south since Kennedy. A strong military background would be helpful though no guarantee. The best thing that could happen to the Democrats would be for the Republicans to nominate somebody that agrees with the policies of President Bush as far as the war in Iraq.

I'll probably get a lot of bad feedback for what I'm about to say, but Hillary Clinton should not be president. Neither should any other woman. Women handle things a lot different than men. We let our emotions get the best of us. Believe me, I know because I am a woman. In a stressful situation, we let our emotions take over which is not what we need running our country. We need a strong man, that will take charge and get the job done. Hillary has already said that she wouldn't know what to do about the war and hopes that Bush finishes it before he leaves office. I say, don't put someone with moodswings in our oval office.

Since when has a Democrat ever taken the South or gotten a Conservative vote. The people you are talking about would not vote for any Democrat. The Republican front runner married his cousin, so they have their issues too.

lol, I hope you like tabasco sauce! Yeah, she may be a quality leader, but she's also a *****. The south does hate her, conservatives hate her, many sexist men hate her and even some Democrats hate her. You are right, it's a sure-fire way to lose, just like Kerry was.

I'm a conservative, and I hope to God that Hillary gets the nom.
It's like an automatic Republican victory. Funny more Democrats don't see it that way.

Hillary is a WINNER. Admit it. She has the drive and the intelligence to be a good PRESIDENT and I think she will be the next one. Attention all Democrats out there, we need your support.

I'm not voting for her. You could do a write-in, I've done it several times.
